How To Boost Your Traffic To Your Site For Free!
Most people belive just submiting there sites to Google and other major search engines gets there site indexed. WRONG! In most cases Google will chuck your site in the bin and ignore it unless you have backlinks (BL) backlinks are links on other peoples sites that direct to your site. Google sends out spiders to these sites and if they pick up your site has a link to yours then you will get a PR rating and automatic entry to Google!! Not many know this and struggle to get any Google ranking what so ever. I have seen so many people ask my why they aint entered into Google and sure enough they have just been sitting there submiting there site hoping for the gods to pick them for indexing.
Articles also give you a good boost in getting indexed into google, make sure you post plenty of articles using article submission sites. There not hard to find, just search in google and you will find plenty. Some charge and some do it for free, but its hard to find the good submission companys from the bad.
Posting on forums, comments boxes and signatures in your posts all count for BL. Google scans these pages and if your site is in the site has a link then you will get a PR rating from that too. Also a good way of boosting your Google rank is when making links to your site try and use html coding and use words relevant to your site. E.g. Home Business site and set that word has a hyper link. Google will see this and boost your Google ranking.
Remember, when building up your backlinks always try and get sites that are relevant to yours. If you start creating backlinks to any old site then Google could punish you. Google is clever and reads keywords on every site, and if your site is about Quick money scams and you have loads of backlinks to home gardening then google will kick you in the gonads for it.
Remember the higher the PR the more traffic you will start getting from search engines. And if your site is good to go for Google then more then likelly its ready to go for other seach engines such has Yahoo and MSN.
SEO! Make sure your site is Search Engine Optimized! Firstly make sure your first page is perfect for SEO, how to check this? Well when creating what keywords you want then check out google to see who the top runners are using the same keywords. See what PR they have and if its under 5 then you have a good chance of out doing them. Once you have done this go into the first page of one of the top sites in your keyword range and check out the source code. See if they are using H1 tags and that there meta tags are set up right. If they aint then your onto a winner!
Google reads sites from top left to bottom right, so when building your site make sure you have your title of your site from top left to bottom right. Dont use your site URL address cause google already know this and it will just damage your PR. Instead use your keywords in a sentance for your title and then again at the bottom right of your site. Something like this, Example: copyright yoursiteaddress.com a money making review site. Simple, works and will boost your google ranks very easlly.
Make sure you put your keywords around your site in sentances, dont try and go mad and copy and past the keyword all over the place cause google will ban your site for spamming. Also highlight keywords with underline or bold but only do this once for each keyword your using.
Use your imagination and i’m sure you will find more ways of promoting your site. Remember you dont have to pay for traffic, if you do this all perfectlly right then you will have loads of traffic coming your way from Google for free and it will be traffic that is after the products your giving to them
Good luck and best wishes!
