Update 4: Made a new how to fix your NAT video. www.youtube.com UPDATE 3:For all verizon fios users…go to cashcroppimp www.youtube.com on how to open your NAT he has a verizon fios tutorial vid if your using verizon fios and ive also posted my vid as a response to his when he approves it there will be a link to it.He was also like the 2nd or 3rd person to comment here as well. UPDATE 2:After many comments from people that say this doesnt work for them if it doesnt work for you and you’ve done everything ive said here im sorry but i cant help but there are many more NAT vids here on Youtube(check them out)The only reason i posted this vid is because this fixed my friends NAT and i figured enabing UnPn worked but that would be 1 of 4 ways of doing it. UPDATE:THIS ALSO WORKS FOR MODEMS AS WELL!! This video explains how to fix your NAT(Network Association Translation ((hopefully thats right)) Its a common problem that isnt hard to fix that makes matchmaking slow(especially HALO 3!!)sending voice messages etc.(anything xbox live/and mabey ps3 online related) I’ll explain it here as well if you couldnt hear/see. Go to My Computer then click My Network Places then click View Network Connections double click your current internet then click on the tab Security then look for your Default Gateway number type that into your internet browser(address bar where u type a website)hit enter then hopefully you come to a homepage click on System Settings(or the like)and enable UPNP …

what happens if you cant log on when they ask you for the passward how do u obtain it?
halo3productions911 on April 19, 2010 at 3:44 am
@rmonell912 Well, just for the record,I did say it a few times in the video….and it the description….but once again I’ll be nice and tell you.
Typically when you first set up your router, you put a password on it(both for the wireless and so you can’t log on to the router and chance settings).So….whoever set up your router will know the password.
If not, there is a reset button in the back.Just press it and hold it down for a few seconds. But there will be a default username and password.
halo3productions911 on April 19, 2010 at 3:46 am
@rmonell912 Be aware once you press the button it resets all settings to default.Which shouldn’t be a big deal really. All you’d have to do is re secure your internet(which isn’t hard at all…).Everything else is fine at default.Like I said there still will be a default username and password.Typically like Admin/password or blank(literally blank not the words blank)/password,or root/password or Admin/no password.
Simply Google the model number of your router for default username and password.

my upnp is open but my nat says strict. i play mw2 on pc and it doesnt let me into all the games because of this
halo3productions911 on April 23, 2010 at 7:39 pm
@wrath567 I believe i added annotations and replied my other tutorial on fixing your NAT to this video….go watch it,it will show you what to do.
Basically,UPnP isn’t forwarding the correct ports for you,so you’ll have to do it yourself(which is in the other tutorial).

I have a moderate NAT and I have windows 7, I have tried changing the DNS settings and I have also turned my UpnP on and off and on again and it’s STILL not working. PLEASE tell me what to do!!
halo3productions911 on May 8, 2010 at 6:27 pm
@WannabeeMarine Watch my video attached to this…it shows you how to manually forward Xbox Live ports.
Denizcan4 on May 20, 2010 at 10:16 am
I know how to change my NAT but when ever i change it it fucking disconnects from the internet, idno wtf is wrong with it
halo3productions911 on May 20, 2010 at 4:22 pm
@Denizcan4 Yeah if you actually turn NAT off it will disconnect your internet.Your internet needs it to function. You have to enable UPnP so your router allows your xbox to have the correct ports forwarded in order to play smoothly online.
If that doesn’t work, then you have to manually forward ports.

HOW DO YOU DO THIS ON A TELUS ROUTER?????? pleas help!!!!
halo3productions911 on June 8, 2010 at 1:21 am
@Frostedchunks I wouldn’t know.I don’t know every single router exactly.
For the most part, you could also google the model number of your Router. You could do it this way…
“How to open my NAT for a Telus (insert model number here) router?” or
“How to port forward for a Telus (Again, insert model number) router?”
scollis28 on June 8, 2010 at 12:32 pm
you should use quicktime or fraps to record the screen but good vid
halo3productions911 on June 8, 2010 at 2:03 pm
@scollis28 Yeah this was before I knew of hypercam and all the other free programs like that :p
Frostedchunks on June 8, 2010 at 5:50 pm
K thanks but I guess a better question is how do I get to that menu on a telus router?? Like I tried puting my ip address in the URL bar like u did but that doesn’t work for me so ya how can I get to that menu on my dumb telus router??
halo3productions911 on June 8, 2010 at 5:58 pm
@Frostedchunks You mean the default gateway address. You can’t put the IP address. That’s the address of *your computer*.The default gateway is the address of your router.
Frostedchunks on June 8, 2010 at 6:21 pm
Oh… I get it now I’ll try that when I get home from school XD
