Lets face it blogging is taking over the world. Why you might ask? Well there are different reasons but most are sharing their expertise in an area and then cashing in on the flowing traffic through their site.

This could be through adsense and other paid advertising programs or it could simply be through affiliate links from their site. There are those bloggers who do not seem to be promoting anything on their site and just provide great content. So you might ask how are these bloggers making money? Good Question.

Most of these types of bloggers use a very subtle business model that when used effectively can create a massive amount of income. They provide first class free content on their site then they have an opt in email list and generate thousands of leads. They then use these leads to promote affiliate products to their faithful readers. You would normally expect to make a dollar from each subscriber but when you have built up a list of readers that trust you and believe in what you say the profit margins will be much higher.

This is not the easiest of business models but as I said if you pull it off the income from it can simply not be matched. For example if you had a reading list of 10,000 which is not an unreasonable number and lets say because of the trust you have built your earning $3 per subscriber. That is $30000 every time you promote an affiliate product via email. If you promote just once a month it is $360000 a year. Are you beginning to see my point?

Many bloggers are already authors in their own right and cleverly use their blogs to promote their own products which again can hold massive money making potential. The opportunities really are endless and lets face it we are all experts in one area or another, so this method of making money online is open to all.

The whole idea behind blogging is to put your offer or product in front of thousands of potential buyers. It is to increase your overall exposure as an expert in your area and multiply your money making ability.

So my advice to anyone entering into the blogsphere is to first build quality content and concentrate on giving your readers the best possible experience. This is the best way to build trust and to increase your credibility. Once you have done this you can then start to monetize your success and people will comply because they will feel as though they know and trust you.
