under my internet access, i can see my neighbors connections, does this slow my computer down and how can i block them?

i want a laptop where i can download music and burn CDs watch dvds all that good stuff.. i heard Apples were the best for this… is there any cheaper but good laptops out there?… or where can i find an Apple laptop a little cheaper?

my uncle died with in 2 months of being diagnose.
and now my other uncle has just been diagnosed with same thing.
my mother has constant stomach problems and heartburn but she has scheduled herself for an upper GI.

I checked on the internet and i read it wasn’t hereditary…but i beg to differ. what do you think? have you ever known someone whom died or has this?

I bought a netbook for my 6yo. It has no cd drive. Can I connect it to the net without cd or cable (wireless). It works with cable but obviously it would much easier to keep it wireless.

My 6 yo asked for a DS or netbook. Guess which one is cheaper and is less likely to break and I decided to buy.
